Grid Collective II

This three-cube sculpture is “the artifice of time as artefact,” per Richard McVetis. The cubes are hand embroidered with seed stitch using black cotton thread on cream wool. Each cube took more than one hundred hours of work. It represents Richard’s way of marking time, declaring his presence, and leaving a trace.
