Mother dearest

Created in collaboration with printmaker Rosanna Bishop, Mother Dearest is an abstract marquetry work created with pebble grain and box calf leather, Chilean apple wood and acrylic leather paint. Including hand cut sections of leather and traditional bookmatched veneer and screen printed serpents, this piece is a study of familial bonds within the queer community.
