Salsa di pomodoro d’artista

Inspired by Piero Manzoni's famous and impertinent work Merda d'artista (tinned Artist's Shit, 1961), the sculpture Salsa di pomodoro d’artista (Artist's Tomato Sauce), made in wax by Paola Nizzoli Desiderato, is a parody, shifting the focus onto the quality of the food we consume daily.
