The Moon Blue 50

This piece is crafted from a malleable fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) rather than clay pottery. The surface was adorned using the traditional Korean technique known as "kkeneum-ji", which involves meticulously cutting and attaching long, thin pieces of mother-of-pearl in blue or white. Subsequently, it underwent sanding, coating, multiple dryings, and ultimately, polishing.
