Almond blossom

Egla Memaj is inspired by the trees and flowers that surround her. Almond blossom is a symbol of new life because it typically blooms in early spring. In this panel she used gold thread for the flowers and dark gold thread for the branches, with royal purple acrylic paint in the monochromatic background.
