Haku kaleidoscopes

This kaleidoscope collection is decorated with arabesque-patterned metal parts. They are built with paper inside a glass tube and coated with metal evaporated onto washi paper. A two-mirror system in the tube creates changing four-point images, viewed through the viewing hole.
