Deep and High

This is a porcelain funeral urn by Shuling Liu and Matéo Clausse. It makes reference to the Styx crossed on Charon's boat leading souls to hell, but the celestial reference also suggests paradise, placing the deceased between the two. Living and dying amidst the sky and sea could define Venetian life.
