Brumaille

Brumaille is a high warp diptych made in 2022. Diane Collongues used the traditional savoir-faire she acquired from her training at the Manufacture des Gobelins to weave her tapestry. She used cotton in the weft and dyed French wool in the warp in a harmony of blue and purple. Brumaille is a textile interpretation of tormented feelings.
