Dark and light raku tea bowl

This piece is a homage to the Kuro-raku tea bowls favoured by Rikyu. To achieve the hand-formed feel of the tea bowl that fits comfortably in the hand, a lump of acrylic was carved out by hand. The black gradation is obtained by slightly changing the soaking time in dye.
