Stitched Love Letter

In this antique lace linen handkerchief Rosalind Wyatt has embroidered a letter from the Viceroy of India – originally translated from the Sanskrit love song. It reads "But love was all you asked for, in waking and in sleeping, and love I gave you sweetheart, at my side and on my breast."
