The Peacock

The Peacock is part of a five-piece series dedicated to animals, designed to push this material to the extremes of its structural possibilities. The graceful openwork effect of this animal posed a particular challenge. Here Umberto Ughi used a teal pigment with very subtle veins of blue and pink.
