Unlikely Movements

The irregular shape of the vase mimics the material properties of the clay, which enables an object to be modelled freely. Pressing and pushing the walls of the pot makes them protrude differently in each piece. The vases were covered with engobe and several layers of glaze to achieve deep colours and a shiny surface.
