Recycled material double bass

This double bass is one of the first built for the Music of Recyclying project when Fernando Solar left his comfort zone to face new materials in building traditional instruments. It proved his belief that creativity arises from necessity. Built with more than 100 soda cans, a cooking skimmer as a system for holding the strings, sink strainers where the sound of the soundboard is allowed to come out, and the remains of a ruined double bass.
