Balloons

These two blown-glass balloons are part of a large-scale public art commission for the National Children's Hospital in Dublin, The Balloon Tree. The 5m magic tree sculpture draws on the cultural traditions of healing trees in Ireland. It collects lost balloons and releases them in various unexpected places throughout the hospital, encouraging storytelling and a playful atmosphere.
