Sakura

The colourless borosilicate glass trunk of a flowering cherry tree rises unevenly, before splitting into many branches with pink blossoms at their tips. The bonsai is a symbol of Simone's work, representing his technical and creative journey, from the first roots that he put down during his initial training to making glasswork a lifelong commitment. “The bonsai is a concentration of life. It overcomes the barrier of size and expresses strength and energy; it is a work of art that is never finished.”
