Tableau en verre (Glass picture)

This glass sculpture was crafted from several hand-blown elements. The blown pieces were then sawn, cut and finally remelted together at 850°C. The black and white murrine inclusion in the centre gives the sculpture a painterly quality. It is set on a black metal support to ensure stability.
