Paravent aux ours, Louis Midavaine 1936

This large lacquered screen, comprising five large panels, was crafted by Louis Midavaine, Anne's grandfather, in 1936. It has become the emblem of the Atelier Midavaine. The inspiration came from works exhibited at the time in the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.
