Fossil #1

Fossils incite human intrigue. The onlooker cannot remain indifferent, instead they are compelled to inspect, touch and play with it. The chest is rich in details and textures which nearly force physical contact. This sculptural furniture was made by scaling up a particular fossil. As in original fossils, the hollows are imprinted traces of organic matter, and the openings in the furniture are spaces for the human body.
