Noughts and crosses I and II

These handwoven merino wool shawls were created for two women. Thanks to one of them, an old schoolmate, Beata gained a scholarship to study at Lily Wesigerber Peters' weaving studio in Luxembourg where she first learned to weave in 1993. The other woman helps people to release pain, tension and repressed emotions by working with their bodies. Beata wanted to emphasize this energy through colours. The patterns differ a little, pulsing with different rhythms.
