Once You Were Intact

This piece, a hand thrown and hand built wall art relief, tells the story of perfection moulded by our environment. “At first we are all intact. Then our living environment changes us.” Heidi Aulikki Puumalainen uses age-old craft techniques to multiply forms and create three-dimensional wall art pieces, some of which are in the Finnish State Art Commission Collection.
