Round panier

This round basket, made from raw and white wicker, was traditionally used for harvesting fruit and is known in some parts of France as a cherry basket. Fruit pickers were traditionally paid by the basket so the baskets all had to be the same size to ensure fair pay. Today, its size makes it ideal for a number of purposes, from shopping to picking fruit.
