Trelew

Trelew is a piece Kendall created for a home in Cornwall. The work uses paper strips, hand-cut and woven through a backing paper. The earthy palette of reds, pinks, greens and blues is inspired by the colours in the garden and for the client who finds some colours difficult to see. This weaving technique creates a slightly three dimensional surface as the edges of the paper strips lift the cut backing paper.
