Am 16_23 Vase

This ceramic sculpture by Anestis Michalis was constructed with coil and pinch techniques. Several pieces were created and fired in the kiln separately and they were assembled together in the third firing process. Many colours of glaze run across the surface of the sculpture to give movement and freedom to its form. It is a work from the Out of Nowhere series, made with stoneware and various glazes.
