Violin

The front of this violin, inspired by a 1756 Giovanni Battista Guadagnini model, was handcrafted from spruce, the back from a single piece of flamed maple and the fingerboard from ebony with ebony fittings. The violin was completed with an oil based golden-brown hued amber varnish, an antique varnishing technique.
