Dimitris Nikolaidis has used the imagery of a bee and its nest to create this complimentary pair of earrings. One earring, shaped as a bee nest, is cast from 18 karat gold. The second earring, a small bee was handcrafted using the repoussé technique, consisting of shaping metal from its reverse side to bring out low relief designs. The bee is made from a sheet of 18 karat gold with silver 999 inlays.
