Seinäjoki

Seinäjoki is the name of a Finnish town in the Ostrobothnia region. This rug is decorated with motifs inspired by an old wall tapestry that Eloïse Boulerne spotted in an old lady's house one day while living in Finland. This carpet is impressive because of the richness of its ornamentation, while retaining the very Nordic style from which Atelier Kaisla originated.
