Ana plate with geometric Islamic ornament

This piece is made following a traditional Crimean Tatar floral ornament with a deep semantic meaning using a technique called Kuru Isar. The decoration is created with a combination of glaze and enamels. The plate is decorated with roses which symbolize the image of a woman, mother and motherhood as well care among Crimean Tatars. It is an ancient sign of succession.
