Asymmetries

This woman's block-shaped handbag has a wooden handle and an iron clasp closure. For the external part, Elena Sueri used a fabric she wove herself on the 4-heddle loom, mixing Shappe silk and Brogna wool in different colours to create a geometric pattern. The wool is hand-dyed by Elena with plants. The coral-coloured viscose used for the lining comes from scraps of previous creations.
