Arpie cup

This cup is handcrafted from silver sterling plated 24 carat, rock crystal, garnet, is a modern tribute to the Wunderkammer tradition. Inspired by the mythological theme of Harpies – monstrous creatures depicted as birds with a women's heads – the harpie cip features these figures as its handles accompanied by three fauns who support the cup. Entirely handmade, it showcases a blend of materials and ancient goldsmithing techniques, including the lost wax casting for the figures, embossing and chiseling for decorative elements and meticulous stone setting, all brought together with screws and bolts to create this piece.
