Terrestrial Coral

This sculpture is a small tree formed from the branch of a dried rhododendron and part of the root is visible. It is painted in fluorescent orange. As an allegory of life, it has a black nest in one of the branches with a river stone inside. To reach the nest there is a small ladder made of wood and string. The piece is mounted in a cubic transparent methacrylate urn.
