Jacquard Tales

The text for this wall piece handcrafted by Thurle Wright is from Arnold Bennett's book, The Old Wives' Tales. The text is cut into strips, some stained with tea or wine, which are then woven through a tapestry net. The weave is based on traditional Jacquard pattern.
