Smokvica cup – The Sitting One

This small stoneware cup was made on a pottery throwing wheel. It has a white clay body, dark blue bottom and dark brown handle. The illustration depicts a naked lady, sitting on the floor, with one hand on her thigh and the other in her lap. She is turned away from the viewer. By her side, you can see flowers growing and there is a moon in the sky.
