Mourning White Queen

The Mourning White Queen is inspired by a circular adornment of an ancient Egyptian queen. The authors associated black silk tulle as a traditional mourning colour with approximately 200 mother-of-pearl carved petals embroidered on vintage linen. Black and White - Gwenn ha Du in Breton language - is also the name of the regional flag of Brittany.
