Cocoon

Seven segments made from sterling silver wire make up this sculpture inspired by bamboo structures common to Indonesian architecture as well as by bamboo fishing baskets. Annemie's keen interest in these constructions has driven her to expand the possibilities of jewellery design to more sculptural forms.
