Dust series platter

This platter was made from slabs of a custom blend of light and dark clays, with an oval-like shape and irregular edges. The exterior was shaped using sharp tools to achieve an organic form. Glazed with matte glazes in shades of gray and beige, the varied tones of the base clay are partially revealed.
