Ceramics workshop near Aarhus

Mette Maya is experienced in conducting ceramic workshops in her studio in the beautiful Danish countryside. Over the course of one week you will learn to make your own clay waves and other nature-inspired objects using stoneware clay. Mette Maya will introduce participants to a cornucopia of possibilities: addition and variation of forms, hand building and press moulding, and the application of oxides or slips to the wet clay for colour effects. She will demonstrate the process and assist each participant in their work. Dry works will be bisque fired, glazed and fired.
