VS Ceramics is located in Castello, behind the Campo di Santa Maria Formosa. Valentina Stocco is a ceramicist who shares a workshop she opened in March 2024 with Sofia Visca, an artisan specialising in crafting jewellery with the lost-wax technique. On display are artefacts made by each of them, inspired by shapes and landscapes of the lagoon: ceramics in the colours of the salt marshes and small aquatic creatures in silver and brass. Valentina will welcome you at the potter's wheel, demonstrating how vases, cups and collectibles in clay take shape. Please note that this visit is free and can accommodate 10 people.
