Since he discovered the art of glass blowing, Nikos Haritakis has been fully embracing this practice – a kind of love at first sight. Based in his native Crete, the Greek craftsman produces decorative and utilitarian items in the traditional hand-blown glass technique. Made from recycled glass that he collects, the objects are finely crafted without the use of any mould. Nikos' expertise extends to glass composition, processing various elements such as iron, bronze or stone. From wine glasses to bottles and vases, his creations are characterised by the purity of colours and the softness of lines, shapes and shades that are directly inspired by the Mediterranean landscapes that surround him.
