This sculpture by Kuan Diao was woven from finely cut bamboo strips, alternating groups of three raised and three lowered warps to create fluid, continuous lines across the surface. Inspired by the Tang poem 'A moonlit night on the spring river' and the classical forms of ceramic jars, the piece evokes the quiet movement of moonlight rippling across water.
