©All rights reservedRose Vase
Cast from a zinc-copper alloy, the vase is blackened using a paste made from soil collected inside the 15-century Bidar Fort. The fort is the only source of the mineral compounds that permanently darken the alloy while leaving the silver untouched. Pure silver is engraved and hammered by hand into the surface.
