This sculpture by Dan Lam was hand shaped from polyurethane and finished with resin and acrylic. The pointed spikes were individually formed and applied to the surface. A gravity-defying ooze of vivid colour, the work balances seduction and unease, blurring the boundary between the beautiful and the grotesque.
