Esposto in A RAINBOW OF FORMS
Murano glass
This vase by Salviati was glass blown and shaped into a lightweight form that tapers towards the top. Free-flowing vertical lines were impressed into the surface using the traditional rigadin technique. Designed by Renzo Stellon, the piece reinterprets the Murano glass tradition, celebrating the lightness and fluidity inherent to the glassmaking process.
