This sculpture by Aya Oki was blown from a single continuous gather of clear and coloured glass, which was repeatedly blown, shaped and reheated. Revealing how form and colour emerge through the interplay of breath, heat and movement, the work expresses harmony between deliberate control and the material’s own response.
