This mini bustier dress by Dolce&Gabbana was handwoven from rattan, with slender strips interlaced into an open lattice to create a sculptural cage-like effect. A closely fitted waist, achieved through denser, belt-like weaving, supports and emphasizes the form, opening into a flared skirt with a lighter, more open construction. Drawing on traditional basketry, the piece references traditional Sicilian 'panieri' and reflects a broader celebration of Sicilian tradition.
