This sculpture by Sue Kirk was woven from willow using the interlace technique. Built around an internal frame, the outer surface was formed with a directional weave, while curved rods were dowelled into the interior. Inspired by the rock basins of Kes Tor on Dartmoor, England, the piece traces the paths carved by wind and rain over millions of years.
