Praying mantises

This sculpture by Emanuel Toffolo was crafted from lampworked Murano glass, and displayed beneath a glass dome. Suspended in time under their protective enclosure, the two mantises evoke the fragile balance between strength and delicacy. The work offers a poetic reflection on nature and its continual process of transformation.
