Beginning

This sculpture by Adam Pliszko was created from dyed ponderosa pine needles and waxed thread using the coiled basketry technique. Fragments of aspen callus wood were integrated into the woven structure. Balancing geometric precision with fluid, natural lines, the work explores the dialogue between structure and organic growth.
