Bark

This sculpture is part of the From the bark to the heart collection. The idea behind this series is to use wood from the forest surrounding the workshop, and to use the tree in its entirety, from branches to trunk, from bark to heartwood. It is made with woodturning, steam bending and bark basketry techniques.
