Embrace of Thorns

This vessel, made from naturally buff coloured clay, was created using the coil building technique. The surface was refined with different grades of woodworking sandpaper and burnished with an agate stone. The upper section features an 18 carat gold painted band alongside geometric motifs in red and black, applied with a brush made from human hair.
