Liquen

This basket by Idoia Cuesta Alonso was hand woven using split chestnut wood strips and felted wool. The structure was built intuitively, forming an open, vessel-like shape. Inspired by lichens growing on stone surfaces, the piece embodies natural symbiosis and slow transformation, showcasing the coexistence and adaptation of materials.
